11/18/2025

The delegation's visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt was to attend one of the training courses organized annually by the Supreme Council for Media Regulation, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Council's Media Training and Studies Center. This visit aimed to familiarize the delegation with the city's technical and technological capabilities, as well as its scientific centers, and to witness the significant development it has undergone recently as one of the major media hubs in the region and a key institution reflecting the achievements of the Egyptian state. The delegation began its visit to the city with a tour of the UP SKILL Training Center, inspecting its training halls, lecture rooms, and scientific laboratories. They received a detailed explanation from the center's supervisors about its operations. The delegation also visited the Audio-Visual Heritage Revival Center, which preserves and protects archival film treasures from deterioration.

They then visited the sound studio, where programs and songs are recorded using the latest global technologies. They also toured the city's main control room, from which the broadcasting of satellite channels originating from the city is coordinated.

Following this, the delegation visited the studios of Cairo News and DMC channels, observing several of the channels' soundstages and watching a number of programs being broadcast live.

At the end of the visit, the delegation toured the open-air filming locations, where they witnessed the ongoing preparations and equipment being used for the production of several drama series currently underway.
