11/9/2025

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, accompanied by Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development and Minister of Industry and Transport, inaugurated the sixth edition of the TransMEA 2025 International Exhibition and Conference on Smart Transport, Logistics, and Industry, held under the patronage of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, under the theme "Industry and Transport Together for Sustainable Development."

The opening ceremony was attended by a large number of ministers, ministers of transport and industry from Arab, African, and European countries, as well as numerous ambassadors from around the world, and heads of major international and local companies specializing in the transport and industry sectors.

The exhibition enjoys broad international participation from major global and local companies specializing in the field, with 500 international companies from 30 countries participating in this year's edition.

The Prime Minister stated: "There is no doubt that industry has become a key driver for increasing growth rates, deepening local manufacturing, achieving self-sufficiency, and enhancing the competitiveness of Egyptian exports. At the same time, the transportation system, with its various sectors—including sustainable, environmentally friendly green transport, railways, roads, bridges, seaports, land ports, dry ports, logistics zones, and river transport—represents a vital artery supporting this renaissance and contributing to facilitating trade and investment."
