Yesterday evening, Sunday, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population met with Dr. Hussein Khairy, the head of the Doctors Syndicate, and members of the Syndicate’s office, at the Ministry’s general office, to discuss joint cooperation in serving the public interest.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, explained that the minister stressed - at the beginning of the meeting - the importance of continuous communication and coordination between the ministry and all medical professions unions, to achieve the aspirations and desires of health service providers, which are expressed by those unions.
He pointed out that the minister stressed the keenness of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Republic, to provide all means of material and moral support to doctors, and his appreciation for the efforts of all health sector workers, in order to provide the best medical services to patients.
Abdel Ghaffar said that the minister directed the activation of the union ministerial committee, to serve as an effective channel of communication between the two sides, to discuss and discuss issues and files of common interest.
