Engineer Tariq Al Mulla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral
Resources, held a joint discussion session with Mr. Roland Ban, Chief Executive
Officer of the Danish company Halder Topso and his entourage in the presence of
accountant Hisham Noureddine, Head of Central Department of the Minister's
Office.
Engineer Tariq al-Mulla explained that Egypt's efforts to
become a regional energy hub have been reviewed The importance of blue ammonia
and how to leverage Topsu's expertise in proven advanced technologies for blue
chemicals that contribute to achieving Egypt's ambitious short-term goals of
reducing carbon emissions during the transition to green solutions was also
discussed. He noted that further investment in research and development in
these areas is in line with the objectives and plans of the Egyptian State to
reduce carbon emissions and produce environmentally friendly materials and
renewable fuels, such as green hydrogen and green and blue ammonia.
For his part, the CEO of the Danish company Topso expressed
the desire of the company, which owns the electric analyst SOEC, which provides
a unique base for contributing to the plans of the Egyptian Petrochemical
Holding Company and Aboukair Future Fertilizer Company in the field of green
ammonia.
The role of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) has also been
reviewed to meet European standards in aviation and Topso's global record in
aviation (SAF).
