Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, announced the completion of 100% of the development work at Al Khanka Central Hospital in Qalyubia Governorate, explaining that the development project included the construction of buildings (reception and emergency, outpatient clinics, paramedics, and the morgue) and the development of (accommodation, physiotherapy and dental buildings).
This came during the Minister’s tour of the hospital, today, Monday, to inspect the work of raising efficiency and comprehensive development in all its departments, where he was accompanied by Dr. Anwar Ismail, Assistant Minister for National Projects, Dr. Maha Ibrahim, Head of the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers, and Dr. Peter Waguih, Deputy Head of the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers. .
Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, directed an increase in the number of doctors working at Al Khanka Central Hospital, which is affiliated with the Secretariat of Specialized Medical Centers, in order to keep pace with the comprehensive development project and raise the efficiency of the hospital.
Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that the minister directed quickly to provide all necessary medical devices and supplies in all hospital departments to operate at their full capacity.
"Abdul Ghaffar" explained that the minister was keen to talk to patients during his tour, to find out the extent of their satisfaction with the medical services provided to them, stressing that the satisfaction of their beneficiaries is a top priority of the health system.
