The Cabinet's Information and Decision Support Center published a series of videos on its official social media platforms, reviewing national efforts to implement the President's Initiative for Early Detection and Treatment of Cancerous Tumors, which includes lung, colon, prostate, and cervical tumors. For his part, Dr. Khaled Abdel Aziz, Executive Director of the President's Initiative for Early Detection and Treatment of Cancer, explained that the initiative covers more than 3,700 health units nationwide and targets citizens aged 18 and over. Over the past two years, 13 million health questionnaires have been completed to identify the groups most vulnerable to risk factors. He noted that the tests include blood tests and other tests for colon tumors, prostate tumor markers, low-intensity CT scans of the lungs, and cervical smears for women. He emphasized that all services and tests are provided free of charge.
