The Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation held a meeting with the leaders of the veterinary services, animal health and the livestock insurance fund; To follow up on the latest developments in immunization operations against foot-and-mouth disease, the Rift Valley, and livestock insurance.
Al-Qusair directed the Veterinary Services Authority, the directorates of veterinary medicine in the governors and the veterinary units in the villages to provide all aspects of support to farmers and small breeders while increasing the awareness role to urge them to respond to vaccination campaigns and veterinary convoys and to vaccinate their livestock to protect them from diseases.
The Minister of Agriculture directed the fund officials to pay compensation for the insured deadliest cases immediately in order to sustain the jam project.
