The General Coordinator of the Arab Network for Environment and Development "RAED", Dr. Imad El-Din Adly, said that the 27th session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP-27), represents an opportunity for African countries to convey their main message that developing countries will face a catastrophic end Despite its limited contribution to the current situation, despite the fact that the emissions of African countries do not exceed 4% of the total global emissions, yet Africa is one of the continents that will be most affected by climate change.

This came in a statement by Dr. Imad El-Din Adly, on the sidelines of the first training workshop for the "Reporters for Climate" network, which was organized by the Arab Network for Environment and Development "Raed", as part of the activities of the "Baladna Hosts the 27th Climate Summit" initiative, which was launched by the network in cooperation with The Arab Office for Youth and Environment, and the Egyptian Forum for Sustainable Development, headed by Dr. Emad El-Din Adly.
