ROKAF (Republic of Korea Air Force) air demonstration team Black Eagles visited Egypt from July 31st to August 6th to execute airshows over the Pyramids of Giza and fostered the relationship between ROK-Egypt through joint friendly flight with the Egyptian air demonstration team: Silver Stars.
Black Eagles visited the U.K from July 9th and participated in the South Port, RIAT, and Farnborough air shows, fascinating the crowd with their exceptional maneuvers. Starting from July 25th, the ROKAF demonstration team has been supporting the military exports industry by proving ROKAF and the domestic aircraft’s competence via air shows in Poland, Egypt, and Philippines.
The team demonstrates the air show with eight T-50Bs developed form KAI (Korea Aerospace Industries). The T-50 series (T-50, T-50B, TA-50, and FA-50) is a multi-role aircraft capable of advanced flying training as well as light attack missions. With such capabilities, the aircraft was exported throughout the globe including Indonesia, Iraq, Thailand, and the Philippines.
In addition, as the outstanding performance and safety of the T-50 aircraft were certified by not only ROKAF but also nations that employ them, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South Africa and the United States are paying close attention to the series.
Black Eagles had a joint friendly flight with Silver Stars, the Egyptian Air Force air demonstration team, and fostered the friendship between the two nations.
