Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, President-designate of the 27th session of the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, delivered a recorded speech today on the priorities of the Egyptian presidency of the conference, within the framework of a round table entitled "African Regional Forum on Climate Initiatives, Financing Climate Action and Sustainable Development Goals".


The speech stressed the importance of focusing on taking faster steps in the field of confronting climate change, focusing on implementing international commitments in this regard through concrete projects, and benefiting from relevant international success stories, while working to provide the required financing. The speech also referred to international challenges. Ongoing and requiring collective action in support of the international agenda in the field of climate change.
