Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting today, Sunday, at the government headquarters in the new city of El Alamein, to follow up the study and evaluation of the traffic impact of proposals to link Khedive Cairo to the new axes east and west of Cairo, in the presence of Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, and Dr. Ahmed Musa, Road and Transportation Consultant.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister confirmed that the meeting aims to follow up on studying the traffic impact of the proposals to link Khedive Cairo with the new and developed axes, which is a continuation of the development movement witnessed by the road network and traffic hubs in Egypt in recent years, pointing out that President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, has set up a development plan. The road network is on his priority agenda as a "backbone" for the country's development, and a key element for attracting investments.
