The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Supreme Council of Antiquities, received 13 artifacts that had arrived in Egypt from the United Kingdom and Germany. The return was made in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, and in cooperation with all relevant Egyptian, British, and German authorities.
This comes within the framework of the Egyptian state's ongoing efforts to protect and preserve its cultural heritage and recover artifacts that had been illegally exported from the country.
