Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced the start of the delivery of 114 cemetery plots previously allocated to expatriate workers, "Phase Eight," with 10 cemeteries per plot in New Cairo. The delivery will begin Sunday, August 17, 2025, and continue until Thursday, November 13, 2025, according to the dates set by the city authority.

The head of the New Cairo City Development Authority indicated that the days from Sunday, November 9, 2025, to Thursday, November 13, 2025, will be allocated to those who failed to receive their plots by the previous dates.
