The Minister of Culture said that on a memorable day in the history of Egyptian and Arab journalism and culture, the venerable Al-Ahram newspaper began its 150th year yesterday, a steadfast fortress that has engraved its name in the conscience of the nation, elevated the word to the status of a message, and carried the banner of enlightenment and enlightened thought since the publication of its first issue.
