Joint naval drills between Iran and Russia began on Monday in the Caspian Sea, with a Russian naval vessel entering the general area of the joint rescue and maritime security drills in the Caspian Sea, hosted by the Iranian Navy.

Iran's Mehr News Agency reported that the drills between the Iranian and Russian naval forces are scheduled to last for three days in the Caspian Sea, located between the continents of Asia and Europe in the West Asian region.
