Air China will launch direct flights between Beijing and Cairo in early July, as part of a broad network of 462 destinations worldwide, including 113 international destinations in 45 countries.

Air China and its agent in Egypt, ASE, announced the launch of the new route between Beijing and Cairo at a grand celebration in Cairo. The route will operate three weekly flights using an Airbus 330/200 aircraft, seating 239 passengers in economy class and 16 in business class. Mohamed Hanou, Chairman of ASE, stated that the first flights on the new Beijing-Cairo route will begin on July 9. The celebration was attended by the head of the Tourism Promotion Authority and representatives from the Chinese Embassy in Cairo.
