Today, Tuesday, the African Renewable Energy Initiative (AREI) will organize the second edition of the Renewable Energy Forum in Africa on July 26 and 27, 2022, under the auspices of the Ministry of Electricity, Energy and Renewable Energy, and it will be followed by a training program provided by the Ministry of Electricity for the contact points in the initiative from African countries.
Egypt is hosting this important event within the framework of Egypt's support for the initiative since it was launched by the President of the Republic at the COP21 Conference of Parties in Paris in 2015. Egypt is also a member of the initiative's board of directors.
The meetings will be attended by the President of COP21, as will high-level delegations from Africa, Europe and focal points of the initiative, among others.
