Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum denied accusations made by a US Secretary of State that she encouraged the ongoing protests in Los Angeles against President Donald Trump's immigration policies.

Since Friday, the large American city, which is home to a large Mexican community, has witnessed clashes between riot police and protesters denouncing immigration raids on undocumented immigrants.
