The October Misdemeanor Court has decided to postpone the trial of defendants in the October Gas Pipeline explosion, accused of causing the deaths of eight people, to June 14 for sentencing. One of the injured in the incident was present at the hearing.
The Public Prosecution received a report of the explosion and formed an investigation team that immediately inspected the accident site. The injured were interviewed at eight hospitals. Technical committees from official bodies were also assigned to examine compliance with technical requirements and work procedures at the site.
