Eric Oechslan, Director of the ILO Office in Cairo, expressed his happiness with the successful partnership between the ILO and the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Egypt.

Supporting Youth Employment

Oechslan said: "This partnership has yielded an effective model of cooperation in supporting youth employment and enabling young women and men to obtain decent job opportunities. I am even more pleased that this partnership has expanded to include other development partners, such as the embassies of Canada, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, in addition to the private sector, through a partnership with Methanex Egypt in Damietta Governorate."

This came during the Job Search Club program celebration, attended by Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports.
