Despite the announcement of a truce, the war has not subsided. While the Easter truce was supposed to provide a respite on the battlefields between Russia and Ukraine, mutual accusations of its violations continue, reflecting the fragility of humanitarian initiatives amid the ongoing escalation.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia launched 46 attacks on various fronts during the truce, noting more than 900 bombing operations, some using heavy weapons, and more than 400 drones.
