President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi's Spokesperson, Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, stated that the call emphasized the depth of the historical and solid relations between Egypt and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the two sides' keenness to strengthen these ties by exploring broader horizons of cooperation, particularly in the economic and development fields. The President also expressed his sincere condolences to the Congolese President and the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo for the victims of the recent boat sinking on the Congo River.
