President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi heads to the Qatari capital, Doha, today, at the beginning of a Gulf tour that includes Qatar and Kuwait.

Presidential Spokesperson Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy stated that the President is scheduled to meet with his brother, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, during the visit to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields and to discuss regional developments, particularly those related to the Palestinian issue and efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. The President will also hold a meeting with representatives of the Qatari business community to discuss opportunities for economic cooperation.
