Russian forces liberated the town of Lebedivka in the Kursk border region, in addition to the town of Novenkoy in the Sumy region in northern Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry stated - in a statement, reported by the Russian Sputnik News Agency - that "formations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were defeated in the areas of Agronom, Bogdanovka, Goncharovka, Goyevo, Zaulishchenka, Kazachya Luknya, Pervy Knyaga, Vtoroy Knyaga, Kositsa, Luknya, Malaya Luknya, Makhnovka, Rubanshchina, Sudzha, Cherkasy Konopilka, Cherkasy Porechnoye and Yuzhny, where two counterattacks were repelled."
