Hamas said on Thursday that Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz's allegations that the movement is planning to attack soldiers and settlements during the ceasefire are misleading and baseless.
Hamas explained - according to Al-Qahera News Channel - that Katz's allegations come in the context of the occupation's attempts to evade its obligations under the ceasefire, stressing its full commitment to the ceasefire agreement and its readiness to enter into negotiations related to the second phase of the agreement.
It stressed the importance of immediate and serious action to oblige the occupation state to abide by the requirements and provisions of the ceasefire agreement, and to work to prevent Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government from thwarting it.
