The official spokesman added that the meeting witnessed the two sides' emphasis on the need to immediately begin the reconstruction process of the Gaza Strip without displacing Palestinians from their land, as the Crown Prince of Jordan stressed in this regard his country's support for the Egyptian efforts to develop a plan to rebuild the Gaza Strip while the Palestinians remain on their land, stressing in the same context Jordan's support for the emergency Arab summit hosted by Egypt on the Palestinian issue and the need for it to come out with an Arab consensus on this matter.
