The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said today, Tuesday, that "the situation in Jenin camp in the northern West Bank is "going in a catastrophic direction and all its residents have left it".
The Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" reported that this came in statements by the Director of Communications and Media at UNRWA, Juliette Touma, during the semi-weekly press conference of the United Nations agencies in Geneva, according to the "United Nations News" website.
Touma said: "The situation in Jenin camp in the West Bank is going in a catastrophic direction", noting that according to UNRWA reports, "all the camp residents have left it by this morning".
