Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan discussed the situation in Ukraine, Syria, and energy security issues during a phone call.
The two ministers exchanged views on international and regional issues, including the situation around Ukraine, with the focus during the discussion being on efforts to prevent actions that pose risks to energy security, according to the Russian TASS news agency.
The talks addressed "the next steps to support the settlement of the Syrian crisis by organizing a comprehensive national dialogue that includes all political forces, ethnic and religious components in Syria, as well as all external parties capable of contributing to reaching relevant agreements."
