Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, reviewed the Egyptian Baccalaureate Certificate System "Alternative to High School"

During the Cabinet meeting headed by Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, at the government headquarters in the New Administrative Capital, Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, reviewed the Egyptian Baccalaureate Certificate System "Alternative to High School", which is scheduled to be applied to students entering the first year of secondary school next year.

The Minister of Education and Technical Education began his presentation with the philosophy and principles of the Egyptian Baccalaureate Certificate, which is based on developing intellectual and critical skills as an alternative to memorization and indoctrination, multidisciplinary learning by integrating scientific, literary and artistic subjects, continuous assessment and dividing subjects over at least two years, in addition to international recognition and multiple opportunities through two examination sessions annually.

Regarding the structure of the Egyptian Baccalaureate Certificate, the Minister explained that it consists of two stages: the preparatory stage (first year of secondary school), and the main stage (second and third years of secondary school).
