Egypt’s Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukri held talks with his Swedish counterpart Anne Lind at the onset of a visit to Stockholm yesterday, on means to carry on with work to further develop bilateral ties and co-operation in several fields.
During the meeting, Shoukri reiterated keenness on consolidating bilateral ties, amid the development boom Egypt is going through, which offers broad opportunities for the Swedish companies to enhance their presence in the Egyptian market, with focus on fields like communications and information technology, digitalisation, smart solutions, clean and sustainable energy, and auto manufacturing, as well as promoting education, the Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ahmed Hafez said in a statement.
