A fire broke out in the popular district of Media Production City at exactly 5:30 pm today in the set of one of the films currently being filmed in the district.

Immediately, the Civil Protection Forces in Giza moved to the scene of the accident to control it, where they dispatched a number of fire engines in cooperation with the Civil Protection Department, in the city's security sector, and they dealt immediately with the fire and were able to control it completely and limit its spread to other places. The fire did not result in any loss of life.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Media Production City, Major General Assistant Minister of Interior, Director of Giza Security, and Major General Director of the Civil Protection Department in Giza moved to the scene of the fire to inspect the extinguishing operations. Cooling operations are currently underway to ensure that the fire is completely controlled, and the relevant investigation agencies are conducting the necessary investigations in this regard.

It is worth noting that the open filming areas in Media Production City are designed in a way that separates the neighborhoods from each other, which limits the spread of any fire to other neighboring areas
