She has had a long artistic career full of successes, and has participated in many artistic works that are still engraved in the hearts of her fans despite her absence from the scene in recent years.
She graduated in 1984 from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Libraries. She began her artistic career in the Vanguard Theater, and her first work was her participation in the monodrama "Nuba Sahyan", then she worked with the artist Mohamed Sobhi in the play "Point of View", followed by many plays with Lenin El-Ramly.
Director Youssef Chahine discovered Abla Kamel's talent, who noticed her while she was participating in a university competition in which she won first place. After that, Abla Kamel presented the play "Melo Drama" at the Vanguard Theater, which prompted Chahine to make the decision to have her appear in his film "Farewell Bonaparte".
She wore the veil in 2005, but she continued and did not stop acting, but her artistic activity decreased and she mostly appeared in television series.
