Liverpool opens renewal negotiations with Salah after the international agenda
9/10/2024

An English newspaper report revealed new developments in the fate of Mohamed Salah with Liverpool, amid great interest from two European clubs to sign him for free at the end of his contract with the Reds at the end of the current season

The Daily Mail newspaper confirmed that the Liverpool management fears that Mohamed Salah will leave the team for free at the end of his contract, so the Reds officials decided to open the file to renew Salah's contract, after the end of his mission with the Egyptian national team, in the African Cup of Nations qualifiers, and in order to block the path of European clubs, which have recently expressed interest in the player.

The newspaper confirmed that there is a major conflict between the French club Paris Saint-Germain and the Italian team Juventus, in order to obtain the services of Mohamed Salah, after the end of his contract with the Reds in the summer of 2025, and Arne Slot, the team's coach, asked Liverpool officials to renew the Egyptian star's contract before its end, especially since the team relies heavily on him in the offensive line.
