A major qualitative shift in transportation means in Egypt, the latest of which was the implementation of the East Nile Monorail Project, as the project extends from the stadium station in Nasr City to the Justice City station in the Administrative Capital with a length of 56.5 km and includes 22 stations and is being implemented through an alliance of companies (Alstom - Orascom - Arab Contractors).
The monorail, which is being implemented in Egypt for the first time, will represent a major civilizational shift in mass transportation, which is characterized by being fast, modern and safe means, and saves fuel consumption, reduces environmental pollution rates and alleviates traffic congestion on main axes and streets, and attracts passengers to use it instead of private cars to reduce fuel and fuel consumption, as it is operated by electric power (environmentally friendly).
