Sisi directs officials to conduct study on Egyptian Countryside Development Company’s projects

The President directed all concerned authorities to explore any current challenges that may have risen and are impeding the progress of the project, particularly with regard to irrigation water supply and quality and infrastructure components, especially those related to roads pavement, electrical feeding systems, and wells development.

President Sisi’s instructions came during his meeting with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, Irrigation Minister Mohamed Abdel Ati, Agriculture Minister El Sayed El Quseir, President’s Adviser for Urban Planning Major General Amir Sayed Ahmed, Director General of the National Service Projects Organization of the Armed Forces Major General Walid Abu Al-Magd, Chairman of the Egyptian Countryside Development Company Amr Abdel Wahab.

The Spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency stressed that the meeting discussed the land reclamation projects carried out by the Egyptian Countryside Development Company.

It also followed up the work progress of the project of 1.5 million Feddan Project across the country, especially in the regions of Minya, Manflout, Toshka, Siwa, El Tour, Al Maghrah, and Farafra.

 

They also praised the exerted efforts to apply governance rules, establish accurate databases to follow up the situation of the land, and set up a system for coding the company’s land, as well as preparing a comprehensive marketing plan for its land.
