Mayar, who is not yet 11 years old, took center stage in the Arab cultural landscape after winning the title of champion of the 2026 Arab Reading Challenge. She achieved this feat during the initiative’s tenth edition, surpassing millions of participating students from across the globe. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, honored Mayar Othman at the closing ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, where she received the first-place prize of 500,000 UAE dirhams.
