legacy breeds.
An invitation for governors, mayors, and citizens to
participate.
Governing water consumption in Siwa is essential, especially
with random well-drilling, requiring state intervention.
Lakes suffered from decades of encroachment, neglect, and
sewage/agricultural drainage, which reduced their fish production.
The state confronted encroachments and restored Lake
Bardawil, Lake Manzala, and Lake Nasser to their natural state.
It was necessary to create another arm to address challenges
due to bureaucratic sluggishness within state agencies.
Supervision of the lakes was assigned to the Future of Egypt
Agency for Sustainable Development.
All efforts will benefit citizens of Port Said, Damietta,
and Dakahlia, increasing fish production alongside population growth.
Agricultural reclamation experiences prior to 2014 were
unsuccessful.
What has been achieved from 2014 to the present is an
unprecedented milestone.
The state is ready to reclaim 10 million feddans if water
resources are available.
The New Delta project is a giant national undertaking
featuring massive pumping stations.
Opening up to selling reclaimed lands to the private sector
in large plots to prevent land fragmentation.
