Following the noon prayer today, the people of Port Said held a solemn funeral for Captain Ahmed El-Nashar—a martyr who fell in the line of national duty—at the Lotfy Shabara Mosque in the Al-Sharq district. Captain El-Nashar served as the director of the office of the South Sinai Security Deputy Chief (Hakamdar).

The military and public funeral procession was led by Port Said Governor Ibrahim Abu Limoun and Port Said Security Director Wael Rushdy. The ceremony was attended by numerous executive, security, and military officials from the governorate, as well as the martyr’s family and a large crowd of Port Said residents, who gathered to perform the funeral prayer and accompany the martyr to his final resting place.
