Counselor Amal Ammar, President of the National Council for Women (NCW), participated in the opening session of Egypt Forum 2026, attended by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, and a number of senior officials and experts in the New Capital.
Held under the theme “A Look at Today, a Vision for
Tomorrow,” the forum aims to promote public dialogue, discuss national
priorities, review development efforts, and address key challenges facing Egypt
in the coming period.
The NCW’s participation highlights the importance of women’s
and family issues in achieving comprehensive development, particularly in
economic empowerment, social protection, and improving quality of life. It also
reflects the Council’s commitment to integrating women’s needs into development
policies and programs, in line with Egypt’s National Strategy for the
Empowerment of Egyptian Women 2030.
