President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides witnessed outstanding air displays presented by the Egyptian Air Force, along with teams from Russia, Spain, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, France, and India.
President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the second edition of the El Alamein International Aviation and Space Exhibition 2026 this morning, Tuesday, at El Alamein International Airport. Upon their arrival at the exhibition hall, he and the Cypriot President were received by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, and Air Marshal Amr Saqr, Commander of the Air Force.
Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the two presidents took a commemorative photograph with the distinguished guests upon their arrival. The President and the attendees then watched a documentary about the exhibition.

Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy added that the President and his distinguished guest toured the exhibition pavilions, where they listened to a presentation by Major General Mohamed Abdel Fattah Abu Bakr, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization, about the organization's pavilion. They then inspected the open-air exhibition.
