Ambassador Mohamed El-Shenawy, the official spokesperson for the Presidency, stated that the President welcomed the Cypriot President's visit to Egypt, praising the deep historical ties between the two countries and stressing the importance of enhancing the existing constructive cooperation, particularly in the areas of trade, investment, energy, tourism, and transportation.
Trilateral Cooperation between Egypt, Cyprus, and Greece
The President also emphasized the centrality of trilateral cooperation between Egypt, Cyprus, and Greece within the framework of the joint cooperation mechanism, noting the need to continue developing this cooperation in various sectors of mutual interest.
