From the very first moments, Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir, Minister of Transport, monitored operations through the Ministry's Crisis Center and in direct communication with the heads of affiliated authorities and companies, ensuring the smooth flow of traffic across all transport facilities. This was done to ensure the smooth flow of traffic, the safety of infrastructure and facilities, and the continued provision of services to citizens as normal, following the earthquake that struck the Arab Republic of Egypt in the early hours of this morning.الفريق مهندس كامل الوزير، الهزة الأرضية، 


The Minister's monitoring confirmed the smooth operation of all transport facilities and means under the Ministry of Transport's jurisdiction, and that they were not affected by the earthquake. All facilities are operating at full efficiency and according to normal operating rates, under the continuous monitoring of the Crisis Center, central operations rooms, and affiliated entities of the Ministry. Lieutenant General Kamel El-Wazir directed the heads of the ministry's affiliated bodies and companies to maintain a high level of readiness and field presence at various facilities, and to continue real-time monitoring to ensure the continued provision of various transportation services efficiently and safely.
