"No matter how far we are, Egypt brings us closer": Details of the 2026 Egyptians Abroad Conference

Cairo will host the seventh edition of the Egyptians Abroad Conference at the beginning of August, under the slogan "No matter how far we are, Egypt brings us closer."

The conference will include a number of workshops to discuss all issues facing Egyptians abroad, the problems they encounter, and ways to solve and improve them.

Here are the key details about the conference:

1- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs has invited all members of the Egyptian diaspora to register to attend the Egyptians Abroad Conference.

2- This year's seventh edition will be held on Sunday and Monday, August 2-3, 2026, in Cairo.

3- Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs, along with a number of other ministers and senior state officials, will be in attendance.

4. The conference will discuss all issues and topics related to the welfare of Egyptian communities abroad, listening to their opinions and suggestions, and addressing their needs.

5. Registration for Egyptians abroad wishing to attend the conference opened last January.

6. This year's conference theme is "No matter how far we are... Egypt brings us closer."

7. The conference's main topics will focus on the state's policy for supporting Egyptians abroad and initiatives directed towards them.

8. The conference will also discuss the issue of insurance for Egyptians abroad and how to connect them to Egypt's financial technology system.

9. The conference program includes a screening of the documentary film "Egypt Brings Us Closer."
