On the sidelines of his participation in the Farnborough International Airshow 2026, Dr. Sameh El-Hefny, Minister of Civil Aviation, continued his bilateral meetings with leading international companies specializing in the air transport industry. He held a meeting with officials from Rolls-Royce, in the presence of Pilot Ahmed Adel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EgyptAir Holding Company, and Ayman Thabet, Head of Planning at EgyptAir, to discuss ways to strengthen the strategic partnership, support EgyptAir's fleet modernization program, and review the latest technologies in aircraft engines.

The Rolls-Royce delegation included Ewan MacDonald, Head of Customer Service; Omar Ali Adib, Senior Vice President for the Middle East; and George Abu Nasr, Vice President of Customer Service for the region.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation and building upon the existing partnership to support EgyptAir's fleet modernization program and keep pace with the latest developments in the air transport industry.
