Madbouly: Presidential Directives Regarding Informal Workers, Freelancers, and Egyptians Abroad Are Being Implemented
7/16/2026

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly chaired the weekly cabinet meeting today at its headquarters in New Alamein City to discuss a number of topics and issues.

The Prime Minister began the meeting by addressing the latest developments in the regional political landscape, including the renewed escalation of events amidst continued tensions between conflicting parties. This represents a significant development in the regional situation, casting a shadow over the difficult economic repercussions on oil supplies, with a renewed crisis in navigation and energy supplies. The Egyptian state, under the leadership of His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, had previously warned that this escalation and resort to military solutions would lead to serious repercussions on various levels. The political and economic situation will leave behind numerous economic crises, and there is no solution except through diplomatic efforts and containing these tensions in order to calm regional conditions and achieve peace and security in the region.
