Ambassador Ahmed Abu Zeid, Egypt's ambassador to Brussels, and Ambassador Bart De Groof, Belgium's ambassador to Cairo, exchanged national team jerseys ahead of their World Cup match on June 15.

The two ambassadors conveyed a message that the two great teams will face each other on June 15, in a spirit of friendship and mutual respect between their countries.

It is worth noting that the Egyptian national football team will begin its journey in the group stage of the 2026 World Cup, hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with a tough match against Belgium.
