Education in Egypt is undergoing a real transformation... and the number of students with weak reading and writing skills has decreased from 45.5% to 13.9%.

Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly reviewed the findings of a study on education reform efforts in Egypt, presented by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), entitled "Securing Egypt's Future through Education Transformation: New Evidence, Progress Achieved, and the Way Forward."

This came during the "Forecasting the Future of Education in Egypt" conference, attended by Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, several other ministers, a number of ambassadors, heads and representatives of international institutions and organizations, development partners, heads and members of parliamentary and senatorial committees, heads of authorities, university presidents, heads of newspaper and website boards, editors-in-chief, media figures, prominent writers, educational experts, ministry leaders, and directors of educational directorates.
