Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, held a bilateral meeting with Georgia Gould, UK Minister for School Standards, on the sidelines of his participation in the World Education Forum in London.
The Minister of Education reviewed Egypt's current efforts in developing the standards system, monitoring mechanisms, and improving school quality. He noted the existing cooperation with Estyn in the areas of standards, assessment processes, and quality control, which reflects the growing partnership between the two countries in supporting the quality of education and improving learning outcomes.
The meeting was attended by Mark Howard, Director of the British Council in Egypt; Amira Awad, International Relations Coordinator at the Ministry of Education; and Hala Ahmed, Head of English Language and School Education at the British Council.
