Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher Witnesses the Main Phase of the "Badr 2026" Tactical Exercise with Live Ammunition

Lieutenant General Ashraf Salem Zaher, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production, witnessed the main phase of the "Badr 2026" tactical exercise, conducted by a unit of the Third Field Army using live ammunition. The event was attended by Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, commanders of the main branches of the armed forces, several governors, members of the House of Representatives and the Senate, a number of Armed Forces commanders, students from military colleges and institutes, media representatives, and Egyptian university students.

In a related context, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, witnessed one of the project's phases, which included the execution of combat operations to breach the enemy's forward defenses. This was supported by the Air Force, which conducted reconnaissance, security, and support sorties to aid the attacking forces. He also discussed with several commanders and officers involved in the project the methods of planning and managing missions, as well as how to handle unforeseen tactical situations that might arise during the combat phases.
