The Egyptian Red Crescent launched its 158th aid convoy, "Zad Al-Izza... From Egypt to Gaza," on Tuesday, carrying a number of trucks of urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. This initiative is part of the Red Crescent's ongoing efforts as the national mechanism for coordinating aid to Gaza.

On its 158th day, the convoy carried more than 2,400 tons of comprehensive humanitarian aid, including food baskets, flour, relief supplies, petroleum products to operate hospitals and vital facilities in the Strip, as well as essential winter supplies such as mattresses and winter clothing. The Egyptian Red Crescent has been present on the border since the beginning of the crisis. The Rafah crossing has never been completely closed from the Egyptian side, and the organization has maintained its readiness at all logistical centers, continuing its efforts to deliver over 800,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid, thanks to the efforts of more than 65,000 volunteers.
